Attendance & Availability

Cadence OneFive provides you with great autonomy on when and where you work. Full-time employees are expected to work 30 - 40 hours per week, and you are free to determine your hours of work within these parameters:

  1. Set a regular schedule

  2. Consult your workplan stakeholders when setting your schedule, especially as team members are spread out across timezones

  3. Plan asynchronous time. We allow meeting attendance to be optional for many meetings. It’s incumbent on you to catch up on the meetings you miss.

Keep in mind that what makes flexibility work is communication! Always let people know when your availability — via Slack status, channel messages, keeping an up-to-date calendar, etc. We can all accommodate each other better when we have the information needed to do so.

Of course, flexibility doesn’t mean everything is optional. There will be times when your presence, in person or remote, is required.
