User Experience Designer | Product
User Experience Designers are responsible for ensuring that the product’s end users are happy when they interact with it, including ensuring that:
- Product does things the user thinks are useful and valuable
- Product behaves as the user expects it to behave
- Figuring out how to make the product work is not cognitively taxing
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, mechanical engineers, and program managers to design UX solutions that meet user and business goals
- Design and implement user research process
- Define the UI and interactions for new and existing product features
- Articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience
- Contribute to and direct design discussions by creating sketches, wireframes, process flows and prototypes
- Establish design language and design system

Requirements
- Highly analytical, data-driven approach to UX design
- Understanding of UX theory and research, including various systems of principles and heuristics
- Demonstrated experience identifying user groups, leading user research, and developing user profiles and journeys
- Applied experience in designing and conducting usability tests
- Ability to breakdown complex concepts and communicate them persuasively through visual, written, and oral means
- Demonstrated background in interaction, visual, user interface, and user experience design, including mastery of commonly-used tools
- Pixel perfect attention to detail during UI implementation
